Welcome to our Trust website, which I hope successfully conveys what we, as a group of schools, are setting out to achieve.
Our history as a Multi-Academy Trust will be familiar to many in the world of education - we started by transforming one underperforming secondary school, did it again with a neighbouring secondary school, and, most recently, were joined by a very successful primary school who wanted to work with us.
However, what’s different about our Trust is the way we have seized the opportunity of three schools only a few minutes apart to build a model of collaboration that is almost unique. Our two secondary schools share structures, curriculum and resources to the huge benefit of our older pupils, and we are now implementing a model of transition between primary and secondary that is equally ambitious and transformative.
We currently educate over 2500 pupils from nursery to Sixth Form and want each and every one of them to turn their ‘potential into performance’. We can already demonstrate that working as a MAT is making a real difference to the opportunities for our pupils and our staff, yet we can also see that we are only at the start of turning the potential of our MAT into performance.
