Local business woman. Experience of the conversion process to an Academy as a Governor and chair of the student and curriculum committee. Has a breadth of skills from her business role focused around; recruitment and staffing, data analysis, service delivery and as a leader running her own business.
Fred Child, Trustee (Vice Chair of Trustees and Chair of the Education Standards Committee)
Retired following 35 years with a nationwide financial organisation, management experience of central purchasing and R&D manager in property management. A Fellow of British Institute of Facilities Management, as a director and knowledge and strategy chair, past director Global FM. Past President of Thamesdown Rotary Club. Past chair of governors with primary school experience and academisation.
Corinna Mazzotta, Trustee
A chartered certified accountant (ACCA) by training. Engaged with the local community volunteering with church and scout groups. Strong financial skills and experience of safeguarding.
Mark Edwards, Trustee (Vice Chair of Trustees and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee)
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Mark is now Head of Packaging for a large corporation, with extensive knowledge of procurement and technical development globally. He has over 18 years’ experience of school governance at both primary and secondary level. A former councillor within Swindon, he has many links with the community including scouts and several other charitable organisations.
Amy Fenrick, Trustee
Independent educational consultant. A qualified teacher with experience across the early years and primary phases. Experience working locally and globally to improve standards of education. A breadth of knowledge and skills from a MA in Education. Passionate about delivering training across the workforce and to parents to improve outcomes for all children.
Clive Zimmerman, ex-officio Trustee and Chief Executive
A career teacher who has senior experience in two schools. As Headteacher of Greendown Community School he oversaw the conversion to Lydiard Park Academy and the complete overhaul of every aspect of the school. Has led the change from an undersubscribed and underperforming 11-16 community school to a high performing 11-18 academy that is now considerably oversubscribed.
Anthony Purser, Trustee
Commissioned Army Officer. Extensive experience in Leadership, Management and Strategic planning. Two years’ experience as a Governor. Understanding of the conversion process to an Academy as a Governor. Breadth of skills and experience within Risk Management and Resource Planning.
Matthew Dixon, Trustee
A Chartered Global Management Accountant by profession. Matt is an experienced finance professional and is currently Head of Finance for a large Telecommunications organisation. He has experience across a number of industries and has a passion for developing high performing teams. He is looking forward to putting these skills and experience to good use, to help enable young people to reach their potential.
